Reverend Ruth Littlejohn is an ordained Religious Science minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, devoted to inspiring wholeness and transformation. A dedicated member of the New Thought community since 1992, Rev. Ruth worked closely with her mentor, Rev. Sheila Pierce, to uphold the spiritual leadership of the Spiritual Empowerment Center following the sudden transition of its founding minister, Rev. Paula Byfield. She also served as a remote staff minister for The Center of Peace.
Her vision—to communicate, facilitate, and inspire wholeness—led her to move from Columbia, Maryland, to Virginia Beach, where she founded Hampton Roads Center for Spiritual Living, a Science of Mind® Community. This Center provided essential spiritual tools for transformation and now continues under the leadership of Rev. Victoria Thomas as Agape Hampton Roads Spiritual Center.
In addition to her spiritual calling, Rev. Ruth brings extensive expertise as an independent organizational consultant and executive coach. She has held leadership roles in several Fortune 500 companies and educational institutions. Her academic credentials include three master’s degrees:
She also holds an undergraduate degree from Norfolk State University.
Currently, Rev. Ruth serves as the Spiritual Director of the Magnificence Collective Focus Ministry, where she continues to live her vision. Through consulting, coaching, and facilitating workshops, board retreats, and small groups, her ministry collaborates with spiritual and religious communities, as well as nonprofit organizations, to foster personal development, inclusivity, and belonging. Learn more at www.magnificencecollective.org.
Beyond her ministry, Rev. Ruth enriches her personal journey with spiritual practices, personal development workshops, yin yoga, walking, and family collaboration, supporting intergenerational healing through reunions and shared experiences.
